The Dorky One
GUYS, GUYS, GUYS! Only a few more days until Christmas! Only a few more days until I get to fly home to Arizona and spend time with the fam and cuddle with the puppies, who, by the way, are ready for Santa's big day as well:
I won't bore you with all the things I'm dying to do back home, but here's a sampling: #1 Go to In-and-Out Burger, #2 Go see my new boyfriend Garrett Hedlund in a double feature of TRON LEGACY and COUNTRY STRONG, #3 Ooooh and Aaaaaah over the zillions of new buildings and restaurants that have surely sprung up in the year since I've been there. By the way, I just looked at My New Boyfriend's IMDB page and it looks like he lived in Scottsdale, Arizona for a while (for my Arizona peeps, he graduated from Horizon)? And he was in the original FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS movie that I've been meaning to watch forever? Gosh, as if I couldn't love this beautiful man and his scruff more. I CHALLENGE you not to fall in love with him, too, after watching this video:
And, also? This song is so damn catchy and cute:
My sister and I are pretty much obsessed with it. Does it matter to me that this movie has about a 90% chance of being a total train wreck? Nope. COME TO ME, GARRETT HEDLUND.
- I saw Harry and the Potters this past weekend and sang "Save Ginny Weasley" at the top of my lungs with a bunch of hipsters dressed as wizards. LIFE GOAL, REALIZED. Those crazy kids!
- The Census Bureau finally released its results: 308,745,538. That's the current population of the United States. Other interesting things that are likely only interesting to me: Arizona is the second fastest growing state in the country (behind Nevada) and now has over six million residents, Michigan was the "Loser State" (nice terminology there, CNN) as it was the only state that lost residents. Overall, the country's population grew 9.7%, which is the second lowest rate of increase this century. Oh! And California apparently has 37 million people living in it. Wowza!
- I posted a Teaser Tuesday for BLACK IS THE COLOR, but you're going to have to find this one, too! (HINT: TUMBLR)
Actually, I think that's it for now! Lots and lots of work, packing, and cleaning to do~
