IT IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for February 23rd??? Do you??? ONE more month until Brightly Woven officially comes out. One!
While I was talking to the publicist assigned to Brightly Woven (who is very nice and lovely, I might add) and again last night when I was talking to one of my roommates, I finally realized just how long I’ve been waiting for this book to come out. I started writing in January 2007, when I was 19 years-old. Finished in October of 2007 when I was 20. Got an agent in February of 2008 on my 21st birthday, revised for almost a full year before going on submissions in October of 2008, and it sold a month later. It might seem like some of you have been waiting for a long time to read it, but, for me, it’s been three years. When the book comes out next month, I’ll be 23! It seems so weird to me that time has gone by that quickly, especially since it felt like 2009 was year that would never end…
Anyway, I come to you with another contest–hopefully one you guys will like!
